WEEK 1 :
| Objective(s) of the activities : To learn CodeIgnitor
|
| Contents :
1. Briefing I had a short briefing on what are the company’s core businesses by the CEO and the Director themselves, which are Mr. Reza and Mr. Razali. I was assigned to the Web Team and supervised by Miss Maisarah.
2. Team’s Meeting (Web Team) I met the team members during the meeting. I was assigned to help Mursyid, which is one of UTP’s intern students in developing a system, which is iteractive.
3. Iteractive It is a system that is used by the company, to monitor all the projects assigned to each staffs in the company. There are also functions, such as uploading file, leave application form as well as claims form.
4. Code Ignitor Mursyid gave me two videos on tutorial of using Code Ignitor. I finished the tutorial and added extra functions to the system that I made throughout the tutorial. Hafiz and Mursyid do help me when I have problem while doing the code.
5. Training Schedule I discussed with my supervisor on my training schedule. For this time around, my supervisor asked me to get familiar with php as well as CodeIgnitor, together with the CSS part.
In short, for this week, I learnt a lot about CodeIgnitor and PhP.

WEEK 2
| Objective(s) of the activities : To learn Cascading Style Sheet

| Contents :
1. Basic of CSS I learnt on how to design website using CSS from Fatimah Az Zahra, one of staff here. While implementing CSS using CodeIgnitor, CSS file is separated and the style of the webpage is styled at the view file.
2. Jquery & CSS Again, Fatimah taught me on implementing the Jquery function in designing the website. Common practice, the Js file is save in the assets folder. However, it depends on the programmer on how to organize the files.
3. CSRF Hafiz taught me on how to add security measures in coding, for example, inserting some nonce values in the code, to avoid RCSF attack.

WEEK 3
| Objective(s) of the activities : To learn Cascading Style Sheet

| Contents :
1. Combining Code Ignitor & CSS & Jquery In order to implement CSS inside the website using Code Ignitor system, the CSS is more implemented in the view files. Not only that, it is also can be referred from other view’s file. It is to ensure that the code is easy to be understood;
2. Simple Web System (Practice) By using the CSS template I made last week, together with the basic tutorial I completed using the code Ignitor, I need to create a simple web system. The web have the basic functions, just like a basic blog do, such as adding new post, adding comment, edit comment as well as deleting them.
3. Passing value from database There are two ways to pass or refer some data from the input with database, which is using the id or through the usage of “hidden”. This is important, especially when to delete the data from the database.
